The Original Cosmo Finger Guard Story

The Cosmo Finger Guard was designed by a Cosmetologist after receiving numerous finger cuts over her career. After another trip to the local emergency room she decided it was time to buy something. When searching for a solution in late 2010; she found that nothing was available for salon use.
After a year of research, testing cut resistant materials and looking over various glove designs it was decided that the two finger half palm style would be the first version. We launched the Cosmo Finger Guard in September 2011 an went to market in October 2011. We are still looking for ways to improve the design for comfort and safety and hope to make new announcements in time. Today we have made progress and saved many stylists from this recurring injury and we will continue promoting safety in salons and helping others.
